A customer in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong South is a leader in the supply of adhesives to the industrial sector. They required High Speed Doors that could provide their facility with contamination control, whilst also wanting to maintain a level of airflow to the facility.
Premier Door Systems was able to install a total of Five PremSPEED, Rapid Roll Doors that not only featured Safe Two-way vision panels, but also incorporated full width ventilation panels into the door curtain to allow airflow but eliminate pest ingress into the facility. The use of the ventilation in-conjunction with the vision panels also provided the added benefit of increasing the amount of natural light that entered the factory and warehouses.
The doors were installed in several configurations that included incorporation to the existing roller shutter doors and provided an automatic High Speed Door capable of withstanding strong wind conditions and high duty cycles.
In addition, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) units were fitted to the doors control power supply to provide continuous normal operation on the event of power failure.
Further sealing was also added to the bottom section of the door curtain to provide enhanced sealing to the floor across the entire door width.
