Doors for WoolworthsPremier Doors has recently carried out several projects for Woolworths, which have included supply of doors for both NEW supermarkets and the refurbishment of existing stores.

Woolworth’s store layout has changed to now include High Impact Thermal Traffic Doors between the store floor trading area and back of house. Previously, Flexible PVC Doors were used to separate these areas and contain the internal store environmental conditions, whilst also providing a barrier to staff only areas. These doors experience high levels of traffic and must be durable and capable of withstanding the demands of a high paced retail environment.

For many years now the PremSWING – Heavy Duty Flexible PVC Door has provided a good solution for these doorways, however in the ever changing retail environment Woolworths now utilize the PremIMPACT – High Impact Thermal Traffic Door which has the added benefit of providing insulation properties to contain temperature and reduce energy loss, whilst also providing a more aesthetic finish.

Spring buffers to high impact areas also offer extra protection to marking and wear which often diminished the finish of the traditional Flexible PVC Doors. Windows are used for vision and safety.
