Rapid Roll Doors

Premier Door Systems recently installed Rapid Roll Doors to a customer’s warehouse and storage facility in order for them to gain HACCP approval.

Existing doors installed on site were a folding type configuration that did not meet the criteria for sealing properties required by the client. Due to large gaps in the side sections which are used to house the folding curtain and its operation, the doors did not adequately seal against pests and dust infiltration.

In total Premier Door Systems were able to provide four of their locally manufactured Rapid Auto Roll Doors to the facility. These doors featured purpose built brush seals that ran the entire height of the door frame, providing excellent sealing properties and forming an effective barrier against pests.

To construct the New Dual Loading Bay area, Premier provided a “turn-key” solution that included all frame work and flashings required to enclose the large opening into two separate doorways. Along with all steel frame work, Premier supplied and installed the flashing and High Speed Doors to create a suitable unloading area for the trucks that met with the requirements of the customer and HACCP.

The Rapid Roll Doors were supplied with Two (2) rows of full width vision for two-way safe vision, along with yellow bottom skirts to ensure optimum sealing along the full width of the door.

Premier Door System’s ability to manufacture Rapid Roll Doors locally in Australia provides the added benefits of short lead times and local support.
